Paver Ceremony

One of LVMPD Foundation’s many initiatives includes Dedication Stone Pavers. Anyone can pay tribute to a loved one, police officers, or first responders with a paver in front of LVMPD Headquarters. After the LVMPD K9 Unit lost a couple of their K9’s during 2024, our founder, Nami Oneda, decided to honor each and every K9 hero who lost their lives in the line of duty with a paver. We donated a total of 6 pavers, with an additional 7th paver that was previously made by K9 Kimura’s partner, but we made an additional contribution so that his paver could be placed with his fellow fallen heroes. Please take time to stop by the front entrance of Building B to honor K9 Rudi, K9 Buddy, K9 Ben, K9 Marco, K9 Nicky, K9 Kimura, and K9 Ash.
